Work for large orchestra and playback. The composition interweaves orchestral sound with pre-produced material, developing from it a distinctive, multi-layered dramaturgy between familiarity and estrangement.

Work for soprano and orchestra after a poem by Monika Rinck. The vocal line moves between declamation and cantilena while the orchestra unfolds a continuously shifting sonic space.

Ensemble work taking up rondo form as a recurring, continuously changing principle. Between the refrains emerge episodes of shifting density and instrumental colour.

Work for soloist and ensemble. The solo voice emerges from the ensemble sound and is absorbed back into it - a continuous relationship of proximity and distance between the individual and the collective.

15 ½ Cycles for ensemble and dance. The work can be performed in concert or in combination with choreography; the cyclical design allows both levels an independent yet interlocking development.

Work for choir and instruments. The vocal writing moves between text-bound declamation and purely sonic surface, accompanied by a chamber-scale instrumental ensemble.

Cycle for solo instrument. The individual movements circle around dance characters without quoting them literally - patterns of movement appear as memory, allusion and rupture.
